We are thrilled to announce the successful kick-off meeting of the WARM ([WAste Reduction and Management by implementing circular economy in western africa] project, which took place in Wa, Ghana, from February  4th to 6th. Funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme, this project aims to strengthen waste management and recycling culture in local communities. 

The meeting brought together all 10 partners of the WARM consortium, from both Europe and Africa. It was an exceptional opportunity to get to know each other, define strategic guidelines, and plan upcoming activities. The collaboration and enthusiasm demonstrated by all participants were extraordinary, laying the foundation for a productive working relationship over the coming months. 

Over the three days, we held detailed presentations, interactive workshops, and in-depth discussions on the challenges and opportunities the project will face. Special attention was given to identifying best practices for environmental education, vocational training, and the development of a sustainable circular economy. 

The kick-off meeting was not just a planning session, but also a chance to immerse ourselves in the local reality of Wa. This allowed us to better understand the community’s needs and tailor our approach to ensure a real and lasting impact.
